A funny thing happened on the way home from church today. I laughed so hard, I thought I should share the joyous moment.
First a little background. Since it rained on Easter weekend, the ward "Egg Hunt" was canceled. They had a lot of leftover eggs, so they gave some out in nursery today. Leslie got a neon green egg with a neon green "boinga" (a slinky) and a picture of Jesus. I'm not sure of the correlation between Jesus and a boinga, but that's what she got. She was VERY excited.
Well, in the car on the way home, Matthew turns and looks at Leslie and says, "Don't eat Jesus!"
That is all. In the context, it's hilarious. Maybe not so much when I'm writing it down.
But, needless to say, moral of the day, DON'T EAT JESUS!
